Features
Graphical Workflow Designer
The Graphical Workflow Designer enables users to create workflows using standard templates for 100+ available workflow activities. Users can create and publish workflows or simply define and link business rules in the form of abstract workflow tasks that convey the document routing and approval flow to the workflow developer.
Powerful Routing Options allow workflow steps to be executed in sequence or in parallel. The enterprise-level workflow designer also supports sub-workflows allowing multiple workflows to be inter-connected.
Rules Builder
Dynamic and flexible business process routing via Rules Engine. Allows users to create business rules and assign them to workflow decision nodes. Users can create conditional statements using workflow parameters, constant values and fields from workflow objects.
The Rules Editor uses Intellisense to simplify lookup of available properties of workflow objects.
Intuitive User Portal
Visually identify critical tasks:
- Color-coded task list indicates which tasks need to be completed next.
- View Task Counts and Durations by Workflow Types and Tasks.
- Flexible filtering.
- 2 click drill down to individual workflow documents.
Management Portal
Provides management with a unique performance analysis interface. The new BI-enhanced dashboard uses a color-coded task list that can be grouped by Department, Employee, Manager, Workflow or Workflow Step.
Upper management can identify critical task patterns with multiple dimensions and time trends showing them where and when process problems occur.
Workflow-enabled Forms
Collect data from multiple sources using workflow-enabled forms for approval and integration to Dynamics GP. Custom workflow forms allow users to add workflow to any electronic data entry form making Advanced Workflow extremely versatile and suitable for enterprise-wide deployment.
The custom workflow forms can access data from Dynamics GP, 3rd-party tables, external & legacy systems.
Document Attachments & Storage
Workflow Forms support attachments that could be stored locally on the Web Server, or uploaded to Share Point or 3rd Party Document Management Systems
Users can link unlimited number of attachments which are viewable from the Workflow Form as well as the read-only Document View.
Workflow Document View
Document details and workflow processing from a single screen. Users can view and approve workflow documents, delegate approvals or request changes within the User Portal. Complete audit trail of user tasks available for all workflow documents.
