Multi-Function Handheld Parallel Data Acquisition Module

Perry Keller

Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) recommends its parallel data acquisition module providing demo source code for common development platforms to support technical development. The design differs from comparable instruments in that the signals from a large number of detectors are processed in parallel. It features two independent programmable gain channels and provides manual, external and internal triggering which is divided into triggering on rising edge and falling edge with adjustable triggering levels. It is an ideal tool for anyone who works with PC104 embedded systems.
This parallel data acquisition module, model A0710007, is equipped with two high-speed 40M 12bits ADCs and features a small-size, stacked connection, DasView2.0 analysis software system and easy to use bus drive. It allows for quick and easy data acquisition and control to be carried out using a computer. This compact data acquisition module has a memory depth of 4M/ch which can be extended to 8M/ch or 16M/ch. It achieves ±40mV to ±40V voltage signal acquisition with tool kit. This data acquisition board boasts a wide sampling rate ranging from 1k to 20M with a low inter-channel phase difference of less than 1°. What's more, it performs highly accurate measurements with phase consistency.
