If you already have such popular ecommerce shopping carts, as Magento, ASP.Net Storefront implemented and working in production, plus Great Plains Dynamics is your Corporate ERP application – is it really possible to integrate these two? The answer is positively Yes, but this project requires some consulting budget. Recent years, when ecommerce became really popular we went into multiple implementations and from our experience we can tell you that the majority of ecommerce Dynamics GP customers are implementing ecommerce integration directly via Dynamics GP Integration Manager:
1. What is Integration Manager? This is native Great Plains Dynamics module, allowing you to setup basic integration intuitively. 2. eConnect buzz. This tool was introduced for ecommerce programmers with Great Plains version 7.0 (and it came into maturity with Dynamics GP 9.0 and 10.0 in our opinion). If you are Microsoft Visual Studio .Net programmer, you can include eConnect libraries into the ecommerce custom project and have Dynamics GP objects in your disposition
