  Handheld Digital Signal Level Meter For BER And MER Measuring

Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) has launched this digital signal level meter which is intended for use in the maintenance of digital, analog, FM or bilateral networks. This digital signal level meter's functions include single and multi-channel testing, all-band scanning, difference-carrying measurement, MER (modulation error ratio) measurement, BER (bit error rate) measurement, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR, S/N) measurement and spectrum frequency analysis. It also performs auto channel spectrum scanning, limit testing and auto testing.
This handheld digital signal level meter, model 1129D, operates at a frequency range of 5MHz to 870MHz and offers signal level measurement range of 30dBµV to 120dBµV at a precision level of ±1.5dB. It features a durable and portable design, easy keypad operation, high accuracy and quick response time. This portable digital signal level meter allows direct entry into a channel or frequency tuning selection and offers great flexibility in head-ends and distribution networks that employ narrow digital signals or non-standard frequency applications. It is able to connect with a computer via a RS232 interface or a USB port for data exchange.
