Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has launched this high frequency reader/writer with antenna, an advanced reader writer, which is a suitable hardware solution for integration into POS Systems where multiple tag reads for long sequences of items are required, such as jewelry applications, laundry management, document tracking or video rentals.
This HF RFID reader/writer, model233004, has an embedded antenna and operates at a frequency of 13.56MHz.It is compact in size and reads RFID transponders compliant with ISO15693 standard using multi-detection at a maximum distance of 30cm.It communicates with a computer via a RS232 interface for data exchange and offers 3 LEDs for efficient status indication. It consumes little power: about 1000mW per hour. The reader is encapsulated within a water and dust resistant ABS case allowing robust operation even in harsh environment.
