  All-digital Fiber Optic Video Transceiver

GAO Comm

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) recommends its all-digital fiber optic digital video transceiver module designed to support simultaneous transmission of four-way video and one-way return data over one optical fiber. It is compliant with NTSC, PAL and SECAM video formats and is available in either stand-alone or rack mount card versions. Its hot-plugging design and wide dynamic range provide great convenience for installation, maintenance and operation.
This fiber optic digital video transceiver module, model GFS4V1D, has a wide dynamic range of 20dB and uses 10bit/ 20MHz sampling technology for digital encoding to ensure the quality of signal transmission. It incorporates an LED indicator for monitoring system operations and boasts a BNC video connector, an ST optical connector and a DB9 data connector and also offers RS232, RS422 and RS485 interfaces for data exchange. The digital transceiver is commonly used in intelligent transportation systems and closed-circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring systems operating at a data rate of 100kbps. It operates at a wavelength range of 1310 to 1550nm. Additionally, the transceiver module ensures proper system operation in complex electromagnetic environments and requires no electrical and optical adjustments in field operations.
