Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) offers this contactless Gen 2 passive Bar Code RFID tag which is an ideal solution for item level tagging applications in retail and supply chain operating efficiently in both near-field and far-field communication modes. It is also an economic alternative to other more expensive active tag solutions.
The passive UHF RFID bar code tag, model 116009, operates over the frequency of 902 to 928MHz for compliance to North American standards. Offering a maximum read quantity of 400tags/s, this contactless mini read/write tag has a memory capacity of 96 bits for data storage. It is compliant with the ISO18000-6C standard and features EPC Class 1 Gen 2 data coding and MC71 FL pressure sensitive adhesive. The polypropylene encapsulated tag has an Alien mini-squiggle inlay and is water and dust proof and is resistant to immersion in salt water, alcohol, oil and 10% HCl. The tag can be printed on using ink jet or silk screening or can be offset printed with logo, numbering and bar code.
