Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has launched this high performance UHF Gen 2 RFID reader with 8 antenna ports: 4 for reading and 4 for listening. It supports multi-detection and has a maximum reading distance of 7m which is ideal for multi antenna applications in a wide variety of environments such as warehousing, distribution, shop floor, manufacturing and processing environments and outdoors.
This ultra-high frequency Gen 2 RFID reader, model 216001, operates over a frequency range of 902MHz to 928MHz. The practical reader offers an N-Type female coaxial antenna connection and multiple communication interfaces including Ethernet TCP/ IP, DHCP and GTTPS. It is compliant with EPC Gen 2, ISO/IEC 18000-6C, and CE and FCC standards. With an IP55 protection rating, this RFID reader is water and dust resistant and works well even in challenging environments.
