Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) is offering its compact flash RFID reader/writer which is designed to read and write to Mifare MF1 tags. This high frequency RFID reader/writer is designed for logistics, guard patrol tour, time and attendance tracking, ticketing and access control. Its portable design increases the flexibility and thus facilitates the interrogation of RFID tags deployed in numerous locations. This 13.56MHz RFID reader/writer, model 223001, features low power consumption, light weight and a compact size. It supports a maximum read distance of 3cm and has a baud rate of 19200bps. The RFID reader/writer is equipped with a built-in antenna and can be powered by a PDA via the CF connector. Furthermore, the HF flash RFID reader/writer supports omni-directional tag reading.
