  Cost-Effective RFID Tag Can be Read at up to 35m

Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc (www.GAORFID.com) has announced the release of this passive UHF RFID tag, a cost-effective solution for applications that previously required active tag because of its excellent read range. The tag, operating in the frequency range of 860 to 960MHz, is suitable for applications such as military asset tracking, cargo and container tracking, transportation and logistics, airline unit load devices, construction and heavy machinery.
The ultra high frequency (UHF) passive RFID tag, model116041, offers an outstanding long read distances of up to 35m and has a memory capacity of 512bits. It uses an Alien Higgs 3 IC and is compliant with MIL STD 810-F and BS EN 60068-2 standards. Encapsulated within an ABS or Polycarbonate case with an IP68 protection rating, this passive RFID tag is shock and vibration resistant and withstands prolonged exposure to extreme weather and temperature changes.
