Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has launched this UHF Gen 2 RFID reader which is ideal for industrial applications where high read rates are required, such as portals or loading dock doorways.It is a heavy duty industrial reader with a listen before talk port (LBT) and can handle 1 to 4 read antennae with a capacity of 400 or more RFID tag reads at a time. The software provides extensive control over RFID reader capabilities and full antenna behavior control.It has an optional I/O control module and a full spectrum analyzer and a reader diagnostic tool. One and two antenna configurations will manage most conveyor and container tracking requirements. The reader, encapsulated within an aluminum case, is water and dust resistant and ideally suited for use in warehousing, distribution and shop floor applications.
