This portable RFID reader/writer, model 246003,is equipped with a high resolution TFT color LCD screen with touch panel, a full alphanumeric software keyboard and a barcode scanner.This read/write unit offers a maximum reading distance of 1.8m and a data transfer rate of up to 640kbps.It employs an anti-collision algorithm in order to simultaneously read a large number of tags. The reader is shipped with RFID middleware supporting data filtering and direct links to many major back end data systems allowing for easy integration into existing systems. This RFID reader is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery via 12V DC external adapter and works continuously for up to 12 hours on a full charge. With an IP55 protection rating, this RFID reader works effectively even in industrial environments.
