Active RFID Reader with USB Compatibility

Perry Keller

Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) recommends its active RFID reader with USB compatibility. This active reader operates at the frequency of 433MHz and is completely plug and play. It has a built-in standard USB cable for data exchange and power supply. Encapsulated within an ABS case, the RFID reader survives harsh industrial conditions.
This active RFID reader, model 214014, supports real time data upload or data buffering for later retrieval. It reads tags at distances up to 8m. Its gain is adjustable from high to low gain mode via the software. In stand-alone mode, the RSSI (received signal strength indication) is set dynamically to control the read range. Working in conjunction with GAO's RFID tags, it allows users to choose to monitor multiple tags or single tag.
