It is intended to test the performance of digital TV signals in QAM mode and the performance of analog TV signals. The tester is characterized for its high speed and accuracy and is an ideal solution for the maintenance of digital or analog bilateral networks. This self-calibrating digital signal level meter, model 3112A, automatically compensates for measurement variations according to frequency responses, temperature changes and internal attenuator settings. It measures digital signal power, power/Hz, QPSK signal power and shows the analog channel analysis level, V/A, C/N, TILT, spectrum, TV picture and measurement results at the same screen. The digital signal level meter also performs auto-detection and measurements of digital or analog broadcast signals.
