High Performance Signal Level Analyzer Provides a Wide Frequency Range

GAO Instruments

Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments ( www.GAOInstruments.com ) has released its versatile, high performance signal level analyzer operating in the frequency range of 5MHz to 870MHz. It features a rugged design and simple operation and measures CATV TILT, C/N and trunk cable voltage. The portable analyzer is commonly used to facilitate CATV field engineers and technicians in the installation and testing of CATV systems.
This handheld signal level analyzer, model A0500015, provides a level range of 30dBμV to 115dBμV. It tests CATV signals accurately in both channel (SCAN) and frequency (SPECTRUM) modes. In "SCAN" mode, the analyzer scans all channels and records signal levels in internal memory for later analysis. In "SPECTRUM" mode, the analyzer displays spectrums and conducts tests within certain frequency ranges. The rugged analyzer scans up to 125 channels at a speed of 30 channels per minute and stores twenty-three groups of scanned data (up to 100 channels per group). This signal level analyzer possesses a 128X64-matrix backlit LCD screen for clear display of test results.
