GAO Tek Inc.'s communication cable fault tester, model 8B, is water resistant with an IP02 protection rating.Equipped with a backlit LCD screen, it clearly displays six resistance values between the A, B paired lines and the connection line.The tester is powered by a built-in LG 2Ah lithium battery and can work continuously for up to 20 hours on a single charge. Its intelligent switch-mode power supply and battery charger are protected against such conditions as over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and reverse connection of power supply.
