  USB TI DSP Emulator Supports Real-Time Data Exchange

Toronto, Canada – GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has released its USB TI DSP emulator for real-time debugging. The Plug-and-Play emulator based on XDS560 technology is designed to operate in conjunction with TI Code Composer Studio IDE debug tool. It is an invaluable tool in decreasing project time and supports real-time, high speed data exchange and high speed code download. The DSP emulator is also an ideal solution for hardware detection of power loss and cable disconnects.
GAO Embedded’s practical TI DSP emulator is intended to be used with digital signal processors (DSP) operating at 1.0 to 5.0 volts. It features USB compatibility, simple connection and no switch settings. All pod signals are ESD protected. The emulator supports TI DSPs with a JTAG interface, such as C2000, F2400, C27X, F28X, C54X, C55X, C6000, C64X, TMS470 (ARM) and OMAP; it also supports multiprocessor debugging of various types. This easy-to-use emulator provides a real-time sequence server without interrupting the application and programmable TCK from 500kHz to 35MHz. It runs under Windows 98, 2000, XP and Server 2003 operating systems.
