  Portable and Multi-Functional Fiber Optical Power Meter with New Features

Toronto, Canada - GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com ) has announced the release of its optimized fiber optical power meter for fiber network testing.The meter is ideal for applications involved in the installation, calibration and maintenance of telecommunication and CATV network.The fiber optical meter has introduced some new useful features. It features a small size and light weight and conducts multi-mode measurements,which makes it well-suited for field use.
The optical power meter,model 3020,tests optical power within the wavelength range of 1310nm to 1550nm and display test result on a large graphic LCD screen.It also has a self-initiated on-line help function and gives hints or warnings automatically when an operation fails. Upon power up,the meter offers a quick response time without warm-up and is capable of self-test and self-check for hardware and parameters. Measurement results can be automatically transformed into report forms and printed via an RS232 interface or transmitted to a PC.
This product is one of GAO Comm's popular family of optical power meters. It is often used with the optical light sources.
