The Hero's of 9/11 Will Never Be Forgotten!
It's very difficult for the American military to deal with the cowards and sub-humans in the Middle East and around the world!
Sub-human: (definition) below the human race in evolutionary development; regarded as not fully being human. And, I'll throw in my two cents: uncivilized!
This is what the American people have to deal with, in our fight against the cowards of the world. (terrorists/uncivilized baffoons!)
When the surprise attack came on September 11, 2001, I was off that day and didn't go to work. And, I watched everything that happened that awful day on television. When I saw the picture of the first plane crash into the first tower, I thought it was out of Hollywood, a coming attraction or something. Hollywood can do almost anything, so I didn't pay much attention. But, about 15 minutes later another airplane crashed into the second tower, and reporters came on live, and now it was a different story. This was not Hollywood...IT WAS FOR REAL!
There were fires, smoke, dust, and madness everywhere! I was stunned and shocked at what had just happened! People were running for their lives in every direction...yelling, screaming, and it was just utter chaos! There were no words to describe what was happening! I had never seen anything like this in my life, and it reminded me of Oklahoma City...but a thousand times worse!
I watched all day long, as the events of the day unfolded! Shock was what I felt, as so many people must have died in this senseless act. Who could have done this? Emergency vehicles and police and firemen were everywhere, trying to get thorough all the madness! I had a great sense of emptiness as I watched, and I felt helpless, as I could do nothing. I was mad as hell; I was outraged!
I was a freshman in college, when President Kennedy got shot, and on this day I had the same feeling...empty and hollow inside! I didn't want to believe what was happening in front of me, as I watched through glassy eyes and a lump in my throat! What made things worse, is later that morning the Transportation Secretary in Washington grounded all aircraft in the United States immediately! "Are we at war?" I thought to myself. This was scary! I learned later that over 4,000 airplanes were in the air that day all over the United States and every one of them had to come down! All the aircraft in this country were grounded for three days!
I continued to have that emptiness and chill as I watched helplessly all day. Every emotion passed through my body that day from hate and outrage...to sorrow! A few tears came down my face as I watched that awful morning. Everything I watched the rest of the day, was through glassy eyes, as I felt so helpless and could do nothing!
Hate and revenge went through my mind! I'm a Viet Nam era veteran and I remember when, a few months ago, President Bush stated, "Bring 'em on!" And, I wanted to put on my Air Force blues and go to duty right away. I think other veterans the country felt the same way, too! Such a helpless feeling!
And, the American's who died that terrible day will NEVER be forgotten, and they did not die in vain! They are heroes to Americans everywhere, and they will always be remembered in our prayers and our memories! GOD BLESS THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY (9/11) AND GOD BLESS AMERICA
