ALLEEGED: SATAN WORSHIPER TEEN KILLS HOROWITZ' WIFE  J. Grant Swank, Jr.

It’s alleged that Scott Dyleski beat Pamela Vitale, attorney Daniel Horowitz’ wife, to death. If he did it, he was the one who cut a gothic sign into her back’s flesh.


At lunchtime at high school he read the Satanic Bible. Some students said he read it just to look odd. But those into occult research know that there is a dark power about the Satanic Bible. There is, on the other hand, a sanctified power about the Holy Bible.


When one saturates the human spirit in the Satanic Bible, demons begin to move in. They can take control just as a devout Christian can surrender the life to the Holy Spirit. There are the two poles — God’s light and Satan’s darkness. Each mortal has free will by which to choose one or the other.

Whatever guided Dyleski into the dark devilment of ####’s lure, perhaps no one will ever know. There was tragedy in his life. His sister was killed at 18. His stepmother and dad recently divorced. He dressed in strange ways by which he was shunned by many at his high school.


But the bottom line is that his teen soul was given to the devil. A teen has the knowledge by which to make moral choices. A teen has reached the age of accountability, that is, a mentally healthy teen. And in that adolescent time frame, decisions can determine destinies.


Dyleski grew marijuana. He was also enamored with stealing. He would rob others of their credit cards. Some speculate that was the motive that drove him to bludgeon Vitale. But it may not be that simple a drive. It could have been quite a complicated inner battle waging inside a devil worshiper named Dyleski.


Sane people don’t slay other people. But particularly those under the demonic powers are quite capable of all sorts of evil, one of them being slaughtering a defenseless mortal. That brings us back to the Satanic Bible that the youth read at lunchtime in the school cafeteria — in plain sight of faculty and fellow students.


There are some students who read the Holy Bible in public. They may read the Bible at recess or a free period or in the lunchroom. They do so because they want to gain fresh insight from God. It does not matter to them that others may see them read the Bible. They reason that people read publications at various times during a school day; therefore, one should have the right to read the Bible during a school day.


Apparently no one went to the ACLU about Dyleski reading the Satanic Bible on school grounds. No one complained about him bringing his worship and devil religion onto the public school premises. No one went to the principal to complain that their rights were infringed upon because a member of the student body was reading literature espousing the soul’s surrender to the devil.
One can conjecture that Dyleski not only read the Satanic Bible at lunchtime but at other times.


In that reading he would have come upon all sorts of devil directives in committing heinous crimes. Reading that material over and over moves the dark corners of the soul into all sorts of plots. Sometimes those schemes take fruition. Apparently, demonic worship took such a hold of Dyleski that he did not care about snuffing out Vitale’s existence. Instead, he would have thirsted for the chance.


Dyleski kept to himself a lot. He worse dark clothes. His brown hair was dyed black. He painted his fingernails with black polish. He wore silver jewelry. His head was shaved in strange lots. His eyes were darkened with eyeliner. His body was swathed in a trench coat.


Once a Boy Scout, baseball player, excellent student, Dylesik changed as he grew older. No doubt the Satanic Bible’s powerful influence played a crucial role in that change of personality.
Just as a young Christian can change from bad to good, so a young devil worshiper can change from good to bad. The spirits work in two different directions depending on the free will choices of the individual. The Christian seeks the will of God. The Satan worshiper seeks the will of the
devil.


On the other hand, some fellow students said that Dylesik could be kind and caring. That is not unusual when analyzing a devil worshiper. The devil is Lucifer, the Angel of Light, who rebelled against God and so was cast out of heaven. The devil, sometimes appearing kind and gracious, has the capacity to be exceptionally deceitful.


That same interchange can appear in the devil’s devotees. They are not all bad. They are sometimes as two persons in one body. But the overpower demonic power has the upper hand. So it appears to be in the soul of Dylesik.


Dylesik, 16, lived near Vitale and Horowitz. He apparently left his home — now absented of a sister killed in a car crash and torn apart by his newly divorced dad and step-mom — to act out a horrific slaughter scene draped upon the front of a lawyer’s freshly constructed home.
