Cheap Entertainment I left about 4 sheets of paper on my bed today that had some old emails typed out on them. I was going to throw them away, eventually. But wait! I have a 16 month old at home. He found those papers and decided to play with them. At first I didn't think he'd do much more then rip it up and put pieces of it in his mouth... leading me to scold him and take all the soggy wet pieces out one by one. But nope! He decided to keep himself busy with those papers in another way. I found it so amusing that I even tried to do it with him and killed my knees in the process, trying to keep up.

He put a piece of paper on the carpet and placed one hand right in the middle of it, pinning it against the floor and the other hand he put directly on the floor. He pushed that paper up and down the hall crawling on his hands and knees, around corners, into his bedroom and back out again, never letting up on the paper. And he was fast too! It was like a ski attached to his right hand.

I had to try it. I followed right behind him with my own piece of paper and I could hardly keep up! I kept loosing my piece of paper and it would bunch up on me while I was moving forward. My knees would start burning the faster I'd go. The paper would stick to my hand when I'd stop for a break. I was slow, hurting and totally lacking in skill. I dare YOU to try it!

Who needs movies and TV when you've got a 16 month old!
