Microsoft Dynamics GP provides several options to integrate and
synchronize data, making it easier to link front office applications, external &
legacy systems with back office Dynamics GP environment. Additional data integration
tools are also available through Microsoft Partners and ISVs.

Integration Manager
|
The Integration Manager is a separate application used to import data into Microsoft Dynamics GP.
It is a graphical application designed to be easy to use. No programming skills are required to
perform data integrations with Integration Manager.

eConnect
|
eConnect is the recommended data access platform. Other data integration options, such as Web Services
for Microsoft Dynamics GP and Integration Manager, use eConnect to provide their core capabilities.
eConnect uses XML documents to import or export data. eConnect is the preferred method for
database-level integrations.

Web Services
|
Web Services provides an ideal way to access Microsoft Dynamics GP data over an intranet. ASP .NET
is used as the foundation to implement the Web Services for Microsoft Dynamics GP. They utilize
eConnect to provide access to the data managed by the ERP system.

ODBC
|
External applications can use the ODBC interface to securely access data in the Dynamics GP system.
The ODBC interface does requires a more sophisticated developer to set up and use, especially when data is
being written to the Microsoft Dynamics GP database. Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics GP database
and table structures is essential.

and back orders. It is developed in Dexterity and uses native Dynamics GP sales transfer routines.
It can be configured to run in conjunction with Posting Server GP to fully automate the
SOP workflow from Order transfer to posting.
