Currently, fall 2007 Microsoft Dynamics GP upgrade to version 10.0 will be actual.  If you are on version 9.0 SP2 or GP 8.0 SP5, you can upgrade right away (if no complication from customization or third party modules, such as Wennsoft, Mekorma, etc).  If you applied higher version builds to GP 9.0, then you should wait GP 9.0 SP1 to hit the market at the end of 2007

  1. Dexterity customizations.  Please contact us on your customization details to get upgrade estimation.  You should have DYNAMICS.DIC with your Dex source code
  2. VBA modifications.  If you use Modifier with VBA – typically you provide us Dynamics.vba, where modification scripts reside and we give you upgrade estimate, plus it is highly desirable if you furnish the available customization documentation
  3. Integration Manager.  If you have VBA altered IM logic, we work on upgrade as well.  IM integrations without VBA scripting typically are version safe
  4. eConnect eCommerce integrations.  We can help you with eCommerce connection upgrade as it may require some eConnect scripting review and modification
  5. GP 10.0 User Training.  If you are currently on earlier versions, such as 6.0, 7.0 or 7.5, you may wish to invest into GP 10.0 user training, especially in integration with MS Office stack of products: customized to-dos, emails, smartlist with export to Excel, Smartlist Builder, where you can incorporate custom SQL queries and views, including cross modules data pulling (such as Sales results, based on related purchases, for instance)
