Last and probably the most important is the size or the carat of the diamond or diamonds on the ring. Most women will not admit this but it is true. Some prefer a setup that is not too big for their finger and other want something the size of a skating rink. Whatever her preference is don't worry about the price, because there is always a solution. This is exactly why I have been talking about the things to know when making this purchase.

Once you have your information about the ring she likes, you can freely go anyplace you like and buy it. Maybe you know a jewelry wholesaler or a retail store that has a great sale on. Before you do march out to the mall or go see the wholesaler make sure that you check out the Internet stores. You can do most of you research on the net and find out about more about diamonds and their attributes. For example, how much does the cut or the clarity influence the price. Finally, just because the Internet store is not the same as talking to a live store clerk while browsing, it doesn't mean that you can't bargain. Send them an email and see what happens.
