TheMeetery.com has taken online dating off the web and into the streets. On Thursday January 26, 2006 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm TheMeetery.com will host a singles event at The Sandbar 201 Union Lane, Brielle, NJ. This makes the first time that TheMeetery.com in conjunction with WADB-AM Radio 1310 is hosting such an event.
The Sandbar will offer their restaurant as the public meeting space to meet online daters in person.
TheMeetery.com is a new and unique online approach to finding someone to meet and finding somewhere to eat.
"The mission of TheMeetery.com is to provide a safe First Date experience." said Jim DeLillo, who along with Roy Messaros, both of Bergen County, NJ, founded the website.
By combining the Meeting place with an Eatery the unique value proposition of TheMeetery.com was born.
As in any traditional Online Dating service, the service is free for subscribers to register. The daters browse each other’s profiles and if they would like to meet, they have to upgrade to a paid subscription.
The daters choose the restaurant through another matching system, selecting the zip code and other preferences from the database.
